Top Roofing, LLC · Brand & Media Guide
The reference for presenting Top Roofing consistently across our website, community information and media materials.
Version 1.0 · November 2026
Our starting point
Top Roofing helps Northwest Ohio homeowners understand the condition of their roof and plan the next step. Our presentation should feel capable, approachable and straightforward: explain the concern, make the proposed work understandable and give the homeowner a clear route to speak with the team.
Use the name Top Roofing in everyday writing and Top Roofing, LLC for formal company references. Our services are residential roof replacement, roof repair, gutter installation, new construction roofing and skylight replacement.
Protected brand artwork
The Top Roofing logo is fixed, supplied artwork. Never crop, trim, edit, redraw, augment, recolor, resize, stretch or distort it. Do not change its aspect ratio, internal spacing, source dimensions, viewBox, opacity or effects. Do not create a new variation, thumbnail, responsive derivative or AI interpretation.
Keep its existing approved display sizes unchanged, including when changing the layout around it. An agent or automated tool must never make a logo adjustment. If a placement requires different dimensions, display size or proportions, the Top Roofing team must prepare and supply the approved asset. The request must state the exact required aspect ratio, dimensions and intended use.
Use only the supplied original for the approved purpose. If a different background, small placement or new format makes it unsuitable, request an appropriate human-prepared version before proceeding.

The visual palette
Use gold with restraint for accents and clear actions. Charcoal anchors the page; white and soft neutral surfaces keep information readable.

Typography
Use clear, confident headings and comfortable body text. Keep long headings in sentence case, with a short line length. Small uppercase labels may provide structure, with modest letter spacing.
Body copy should explain what matters, give each idea enough space and help a homeowner understand what to do next.
Headings: Geologica 700, close spacing, approximately 1.15 line height. Body: Geologica 400, 16px or larger, approximately 1.75–1.9 line height. Buttons and short labels: Geologica 500–600. Use Arial, sans-serif as the fallback.
Scale headings to the available space rather than forcing desktop line breaks onto phones. Keep text readable without horizontal scrolling. The protected logo is artwork and is never recreated with a typeface.
Voice and content
Be direct, calm and specific. Describe the homeowner’s concern in familiar words, explain the relevant roofing detail and connect that explanation to a useful next step. A person can ask about a leak without knowing the name of the flashing involved.
Use active sentences and meaningful headings. Explain a technical term when it helps someone compare options. Avoid pressure, exaggerated claims, keyword repetition and promises that a general webpage cannot support.
Publish only confirmed facts. Reviews, credentials, project photographs, prices, warranties, financing terms and completion timelines need appropriate verification. The written agreement defines the actual work and terms. Do not promise an insurance outcome or permit approval.
Website standards
| Element | Standard |
|---|---|
| Page structure | One clear H1, a short introduction, useful sections, related services and a direct next step. |
| Content width | Up to 1,200px; comfortable page gutters and readable prose rather than full-width paragraphs. |
| Spacing | Use an 8px rhythm. Give major sections about 76px of vertical space on desktop and 47px on phones. |
| Cards and corners | Use simple borders, restrained 8–12px corners and modest grouping. Buttons use a 3px corner. |
| Type | Geologica, with Arial and sans-serif fallbacks. Body copy begins at 16px with generous line spacing. |
| Actions | Use “Request a free estimate” for the primary contact action. Keep the phone number easy to find. |
| Navigation | Keep service and community labels descriptive. Provide a service-area hub and direct footer links. |
| Accessibility | Use visible keyboard focus, semantic headings and descriptive links. Check touch controls, contrast and phone layouts. |
Give each community a distinct, practical guide: relevant roofing questions, preparation details, appropriate official planning resources and links to our services and homeowner articles. Keep one clear commercial destination for each community, supported by the Service Areas hub.
Use accurate titles, descriptions and structured information. Community service pages describe where we work; they do not represent additional offices or change which individual properties we can serve. Do not invent local project experience, duplicate a page by swapping city names or claim that a mailing address determines permit requirements.
Keep a clear estimate action, verified contact information, service links, community links and company resources. Place legal information and website credits at the end. Use the same shared footer across pages, with readable spacing and clear group labels.
Photography and media
Use clear roofing, material and home imagery with a useful focal point. Confirm ownership or permission before publication. Project captions must match the actual location and work, with customer permission where needed.
Generic roofing photographs can illustrate a service, but must never be presented as a completed Top Roofing project in a named community. Avoid invented before-and-after images, fabricated customers and claims that cannot be verified. Use descriptive alternative text without stuffing city names into it.
Protect personal information, addresses and identifying customer details. The logo has its own stricter rule above; ordinary photographic crop and layout choices must never be applied to logo artwork.
Use this guide when creating new Top Roofing pages and media. Confirm changing company facts with the team, preserve the supplied logo exactly and check the result on a phone as well as a desktop.
